Click here for pictures of the Anchor facility The mission of the Anchor Intermediate Care Facility, located in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, is to provide residential substance abuse treatment for adults. Anchor ensures a comprehensive coordination of treatment services for individuals through the Walden outpatient program.
These services include intensive outpatient services, individual,
group and family services, 24-hour crisis intervention, aftercare,
relapse prevention, and special programs for dually diagnosed and
abused clients.
Admission: All individuals must present with an acute addiction problem. Those in need of sub acute detoxification will be assessed for medical appropriateness and treatment readiness. Clients will be screened for admission via a telephone interview. Appropriate referrals will then be scheduled for a face-to-face assessment. If a waiting list is developed, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's residents will be given priority placement for admission. Anchor Services: Anchor offers patients a place to recover from addiction for an average
of 21-28 days. Anchor offers the following rehabilitation treatment
services.
Qualified Staff: Anchor provides qualified, caring staff who understand the needs of addicted individuals and support them in their recovery. As part of the Walden continuum of care, Anchor residents benefit from the experience and knowledge of the Walden Staff. All of our staff members treat clients according to a biopsychosocial treatment model.
