(Leonardtown, MD) Walden/Sierra has received $2,500 from the Food Lion Charitable Foundation. Walden/Sierra will use the gift to support the Compass Halfway House.

We are grateful for this much-needed support for the Compass program and our goal of helping our clients recover and achieve self-sufficiency, said Kathleen OBrien, Ph.D., Executive Director of Walden/Sierra.  This gift will help provide enhanced educational activities for the children living at Compass and healthy food for clients and their children.
