Walden/Sierra to hold 5k run and fun walk

Greenwell State Park

June 9, 2007

            St. Mary�s County, Maryland � Walden/Sierra will hold a 5k cross-country run and fun walk on Saturday, June 9, at 9 a.m., rain or shine, at Greenwell State Park in Hollywood.  Pre-registration cost is $20.  Race-day registration is $25.  To register online visit www.waldensierra.org.  For more information, call Valerie Colvin at 301-997-1300. 

            Proceeds of this event will benefit Walden/Sierra, a nonprofit behavioral health agency that has been serving the Southern Maryland community through crisis intervention, counseling services and a continuum of substance abuse treatment since 1973.
