Recovery Discovery Walk 2012 Set for October 27th!

Put on some walking shoes and come on down to Leonard Hall Recreation Center on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 to join us for our 2nd Recovery Discovery Walk event!

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. with light refreshments, and our easy 1.25 mile Discovery Walk around Government Center begins at 9 a.m.  After the walkers return, you will want to stay awhile for prize raffles, leaving your mark on the "Many Experiences, One Celebration" banner, information booths, and an open mic for folks to share why & how recovery is worth it-- the 2012 National Recovery Month theme.

This event is free and rain or shine.  A minimum $10 donation at the event will earn you a recovery t-shirt with concept design by Rev>  and our appreciation!

If you would also like to donate on-line in support of this event and Walden's treatment and recovery services, please go to and indicate your Program Designation selection.

For more information about the Recovery Walk, please contact or call us at 301-997-1300 x 804.
