Anchor House

In some cases, adults assessed for Walden services will require residential treatment. Anchor Intermediate Care Facility provides several levels of inpatient care in a comfortable, private setting specifically designed for use as a treatment center. At Anchor, clients are ensured a comprehensive coordination of treatment services linked to our outpatient and counseling programs. • Individuals with an acute (active) addiction problem may be admitted to Anchor’s short term program. While individual stays vary based on the needs of the individual, the average stay is 14 days.
• Those in need of sub acute detoxification are assessed for medical appropriateness and treatment readiness prior to admission.
• Anchor also offers a long term residential program for adults who would benefit from living in a recovery-oriented treatment community while gradually negotiating the process of returning to community, work or family life.
• Services at Anchor are offered via individual and group counseling. Other assistance includes: family therapy, medication and medical management, evaluation for co-occurring disorders, 12 step meetings, drug screenings, educational information, relapse prevention, and coordination of continuing care.
